About Me
Dr. Michiko Shibata, is a board-certified pediatrician who is committed to providing the highest quality primary care to her patients and their families. Dr. Shibata loves meeting new families, partnering with them at each step of development, and learning about their unique needs. Dr. Shibata is excited about providing individualized care to help each family flourish and navigate their children’s health as a whole. she is very excited to join UBCP Laurel Heights Pediatrics after spending the last twelve years in a thriving private practice. When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Shibata enjoys running on trails, trying different kinds of coffee, and cheering from the sidelines at her childrens’ soccer games. Dr. Shibata was born and raised in Japan. She is a proud mother of three, and the newest member of the family, their dog Hachi.
